He was in the procurement engineering depart ment of Carolina Power and Light's Brunswick Nuclear Plant, and was a member of AMS and the Coast Guard Auxiliary. Funeral services were held Jan. 30 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, with burial in Northwood Cemetery. ENOCH MAURICE LOVETTE Enoch Maurice Lovette, 72, of Norwood Street, Ocean Isle, died Thursday. Jan. 27, at his residence. Born in Lumberton on Jan. 19, 1922, he was the son of the late Enoch and Nctlic Wilkins Lovettc. He was a member of Ocean View Baptist Church and a U.S. Navy vet eran serving during World War II. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He is survived by his wife, Nora H. SPIVEY Charity Chestnut Spivey, 75, of Myrtle Beach, S.C., died Jan. 25 at home. Born March 16, 1919, she was a daughter of the late Emily Gore and William Chestnut. She was educated in Horry County public schools. She was a member of Sandy Grove Baptist Church and the Missionary Society. She was the widow of Levance Spivey. He was burn in Wilmington April 6, 1919, the son of the late John Philip and Addie Nelson Brehmer. He was a member of the Seagate Community Chapel, a veteran ot World War 11 serving in the Army Air Corps, a member of the VFW Post 10, chaplain of the Navassa Volunteer hire Department, and was retired from Koch Industries of Wilmington.
