Senior point guard Antoinc Johnson led South Brunswick with 12 points, and Moore and Chris Champion finished with eight each. Chris kiger paced the Vikings with 16 points. South Brunswick led 28-23 at halftime, but the host Vikings held the Cougars to just five points in the third quarter and took a 35-33 lead into the final period. Unfortunately for West Bruns wick. the four points were posted on the South Columbus side of the scorebook and the Stallions swept the visiting Trojans in Waccamaw Conference action. Brandon Simmons scored a game -high 21 points to lead the South Columbus boys to a 58-57 win. On the girls' side, Kangela Ravenell's 10 points paced the Lady Stallions in their 38-35 victory. West Brunswick's boys overcame a 35-30 halftime deficit to take a 47 46 lead into the fourth quarter. The Stallions led 57-54 before West's Derek Frink drained a three pointer with less than one minute re maining to tic the score. A late free throw gave South Columbus the win. Timothy Daniels scored 14 points, Anthony Moody and Jona than Williams had 12 each and Frink added 11 to pace the Trojans. Andre C'larida chipped in 15 for the Stal lions, who improved to 2-5 in the conference and 6-11 overall.
