Sheriff's Department

JERRY
DOVE
SHERIFF
The New Beginning... ...Professional Leadership
Within the next few days you will have the opportunity to vote for your choice
of Democratic candidates for sheriff. If the sheriff's department is to become an
efficient and effective organization, it must have professional leadership.
Many of the personnel are dedicated and professional people; but they must
have a strong leader. The department must be organized and instituted for the
good of all our citizens and not for the benefit of those to whom it is entrusted.
Every citizen in Brunswick County is entided to equal protection.
If you are dissatisfied with the way the sheriff's department is being operated,
let's make a change. I am 48 years of age and have 28 years of training,
experience and education in law enforcement.
I am obligated to no one and will make only one promise. I will promise the
citizens of Brunswick County a sheriff's department of which you will be proud.
You can make the change!
