Caldwell-Leonard Vows Exchanged In Claremont Una Marie Caldwell of Chapel Hill became the bride of James Miliary Leonard of Raleigh is a 3 p.m. ceremony Saturday, May 21, at St Mark's Lutheran Church. Clare moot, officiated by the Rev. David P. Nelson and the Rev Imw BtS'Jfy The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie A. Caldwell of Claremont. She is a graduate of Suukci Kill High School ana of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she earned the bachelor's degree in clinical labora tory science on May IS. The bridegroom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Mallary B. Leonard of Bay Road, Shallotte. He is a graduate of West Brunswick High School and N.C State University, where he earned the bachelor of science de gree in textile chemistry. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a formal gown with fitted bodice, scoop neckline, drop waist and long fitted sleeves de signed in white corded Venice lace accented with pearls and iridescent sequins. The full skirt of white satin was adorned with a bow at the waist. Scalloped edging of corded Venice lace dotted with pearls flowed into a semi-cathedral train. She carried a cascade of white and light peach roses with white lilies and freesia, accented with ivy and ferns. Matron ot honor was Mrs. Mic hael k. Lemons of Newton, the bride's sister. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Robert L Rouse of Raleigh, aunt of the groom; Anna K. Bolkk of CoiKJver and Dawn L Ecaeiu of Claremont. They wore dresses with black satin fitted bodices, drop waists with keyhole backs sod floor-length skirts of white tulle. They carried cascades of peach gerbers, ivory at stromeria, variegated purple minia ture carnations and purple wax flower, accented with larkspur and white Queen Anne's lace. The groom's father served as best man. Ushers were Lloyd E. Milliken of Shallotte, the groom's brother-in law; Robert L. Rouse of Raleigh, the groom's uncle; and Michael R. Lemons of Newton. Wedding music was provided by Mrs. Craig Sigmon, soloist, and Tun Warren, oraar.isi. The bride's parents hosted a re ception in the church fellowship hall. Hostesses were Mrs. Dennis Lyerly and Susan Keed. The couple left for a honeymoon in the Poconos Mountains of Penn sylvania.
