CHURCH ACTIVITIES Family Night To Feature The C/evengers Marquita and Duanc Clevengcr will be guest speakers at the annual Family Night of the Shallotte Women's Anlow Fellow?hm The meeting will take place Saturday, Nov. S, at 6:30 p.m. at the Shallotte Senior Center on Main Street. Mrs. Clevenger, who was bom without eyes, and her husband have appeared on PTL, the 700 Club and many radio broadcasts. They are missionaries and evangelists who share their message around the world. All women, their husbands and children are welcome, said Aglow spokesman Tami Vamam. Born Sept. 29, 1935, in Sewick ley. Pa., he was a son of Agnes C. Lesnick Eisenacher and the late Alfred Karl Eisenacher. iv'r. Eiscnachcr wug s retired ssles representative for BNA Inc. in Charlotte and a former member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Charlotte. Prior to moving to Little River, he made his home in Citrus Springs, Fla., and was a tele marketing supervisor for the Citrus Count Chronicle. He was also an Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Carol Mclntire Eisenacher; his mother of Beverly Hills, Fla.; a son, Karl William Eisenacher of Charlotte; a daughter, Susan C arol Eisenacher of Chapel Hill; and an aunt, Frances Lesnick of Beverly Hills, Fla. A memorial service was held Oct. 27 in McMillan-Small Funeral Home. Burial was private. RUBY JANE SULLIVAN ROGERS Ruby Jane Sullivan Rogers, 80, of Greenhill Road, Winnabow, died Oct. 24 in Brunswick Cove Nursing Home. She was bom in Brunswick County on Nov. 9, 1913, and was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mattie Davis Oliver. She was pre ceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Elbert C. Rogers, in 1993. Mrs. Rogers was a member of Town Creek Baptist Church of Winnabow. Surviving are a son, W.C. "Billy" Rogers of Winnabow; four daugh ters, Mrs. Earl (Lois) Gay of Wilm ington, Mrs. Woodruff (Vernie) Allen Jr. of Wilmington, Mrs. How ard (Betty) Martin of Conway, S.C., and Rebecca Rogers of Winnabow; a brother, Rallie Lee Sullivan of Winnabow; two sisters, Mary Ann Phelps of Bolivia and Linda Rich of Winnabow; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Oct. 27 at Town Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Weston Vamum and the Rev. Vic Potter officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mrs. Clemmons is survived by a son, James Lee Clemmons of Sup ply; four daughters, Emma Lucille Varnum of Vamamtown and Jessie May Dillon, Eunice D. Hart and Mrs. Bobby C. Milliken, all of Supply; a brother, Andrew Cheers of Supply; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. LLOYD IR WIN HARVEY Lloyd Irwin Harvey, 57, of Wilmington died Oct. 28 in Bruns wick County. He was born Dec. 2, 1936, in Williamstown, Vt., to the late Irwin H. and Grace Lord Harvey. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Survivors include his wife, Judith B. Harvey of the home; three sons, Jeffery Harvey of the home, Scott Harvey of Wilmington and Brentt Harvey and wife Lori of Wilming ton; a daughter, Jennifer Harvey of Wilmington; a sister, Dorothy Black of Barrc, Vt.; and a grandson, Joshua Harvey of Wilmington. WILLIAM MAGNUS HEWETT William Magnus Hewett, 75, of Shallotte, died Oct. 31 at The Brunswick Hospital. He was born on July 20, 1919, and was the son of the late William Jennings Bryan Hewett and Scotiic Carlisle Hewett. William Oscar Hewett and wife Faye Thompson Hewett of Rocking ham; a daughter, Gloria H.
