Did you know the oldest conservation pro gram we have was when Presi dent John Quincy Adams pro tected a 1,377 acre forest of live oak wood to be preserved for building Navy ships? Located on Route 98 near Seabreeze, Florida, it is a woodland and a coastal habitat that has all but disap peared and one you may wish to stop and walk throughwhenever you are driving south. Jean and A1 Hendricks are home after a month aboard their “Sea Rover,” a 31-foot Willard ‘irawler which carried them up the Bay into exploring the western shore. They spent some time on the Potomac and sightseeing in Washington, D. C., and in the Solomons. It was a thoroughly delightful experience with fine weather. Answer: No, says Dr. Howard Eler, professor at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Just to match the cholesterol in one egg, ' you’d have to eat more than one dozen oysters, or two small lobsters. Shrimp is also relatively low in choles terol. Some folks are still dishing out fishy advice because they don’t know that shellfish data from the 1940’s were all wet!
