skim milk or buttermilk should be

sloppy feed that will pour readily
from a bucket. During the first two
days of the fattening period, feed
only as much as the birds will con

they will clean up in 20 to 30 minutes

enough water to quench the thirst
should be given twice a day during
the fattening period.

SENTENCE CHANGED
The case of O. J. Mansfield, local
white man, convicted on Monday of
the charge of the illegal possession of
liquor and sentenced to sixty days on
the roads, was reopened for a further
investigation on Wednesday after
