good husband and provides for his
wife, Emma Lee, according to her
testimony on the stand, but she was
ned about his drinking so much,

he could cure Leo of drinking

didn't see the money any more, how
ever, and Leo got drunk on Sunday
and Emma Lee said "seemed like he
was worse than he had ever been.
,. Witnesses related that "Dr. Buz-
t zard" had said that he could get
folks ont of jail and could even
"throw liases out of court". He told
one-witness -that they couldn't even
try James Hardy. James was sen
tenced to the roads during this ses
sion of court, however.
He picked up a good deal of cash
here and there. All may not be ac
counted for.

tense in this case and was sent to
the roads for six months upon con-
r viction in another case of practicing
V medicine without a license. "Dr.
Buzzard" did not appeal.
