Sumner at Nags Head. Midshipman Tom Nixon of Annap olis, will arrive in Hertford Monday to spend the month of September with his mother, Mrs. T. J. Nixon, Jr. " Dr. Earl M. Sikes and Mrs, Sikes of Hanover, N. H., are expected' to arrive in Hertford within the next day or two for a visit to Mrs. Sikes' mother, Mrs. Herbert Newby, and her sister, Mrs. T. J. Perry. Cadet William R. Crawford has returned to West Point, after spend ing his vacation with his mother, 'Mrs. L. R. Crawford. Reed, near Hert ford, which includes the painting of the house and all the outbuildings, as well as other improvements.
