King, of Golds boro, are spending a few days at the Hotel Hertford, while Mr. King at tends to business connected with the rebuilding of the oil mill of the Southern Cotton Oil Company. Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Sutton, of Newport News, Va., and Dozier Sut ton, who is attending the Norfolk Business College, Norfolk, Va., were here on Sunday visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Sutton. Mrs. R. A. Sutton has returned from a visit to friends at Smithfield and other points. Mrs. R. T. White has been quite sick with an attack of malaria. Her condition is somewhat improved. Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Reed have re turned from a visit to friends at La Grange. Miss Helen Morgan, who has been sick is convalescing. Mr. and Mrs. P. J.
