Clubs Render George Washington Program On Tuesday evening, the Chamin ade and Melody Makers Clubs, with Mrs. R. M. Riddick as director stag ed a colorful George Washington pro gram to a most appreciative audience at the Hertford Grammar School. Most effective were George and little hatchet, his father, and George in his manhood, with Mistress Betsy Ross, flag maker. The fashions of Colonial days were portrayed by lassies and lads in costumes of the period. Piano pupils played authentic early American music, as well as that of contemporary European composers. The Rhythm Band was at its Dest playing "The President's March."
