New Ballahack Club Stresses Importance School Attendance Mrs. Percy Rogerson, the newly elected president of the Parent Teacher Association of the Ballahack School, presided at the first meeting of the fall, held on Monday evening. The main -purpose of this meeting was to re-organize and to stress the importance of perfect school attend ance for the first two weeks of this term, at least, in order to secure an additional teacher for this . school. At present this school has only one teacher, Miss Ruth E. Hurdle. The meeting was called to order by the former president, Mrs. Sin gleton Lane, and after the devotional exercises the. new president was called to the chair. Other new officers include Mrs. Clinton Perry, vice president; Mrs. Mathew Dail, secretary; Miss Ruth E. Hurdle, treasurer and program committee chairman; Mrs. Joe Dail, Mrs. Bennie Monds and Mrs. Jose phine Ward, membership committee. The publicity committee is yet to be elected. It was voted by the majority of members not to serve refreshments this year, but to reconsider this question, in the January meeting. It was also decided to meet each Tues day night after the third Sunday at 7:30 o'clock. The following brief but interesting program was rendered: Mrs. Clinton Perry gave a reading.- "The Chief Purpose," and Mrs. Percy Rogerson read "What Parents and Teachers Can Do." ' One new member was added to the. roll, Miss Selma Rogerson.
