The Winfall Home Demonstration Cluib held its monthly meeting on Wednesday afternoon with Mrs, David Trueblood. The new presi dent, Mrs. E. N. Miller, presided over the meeting. . A very inter esting Christmas program was ren dered. After the program a social hour was enjoyed. During this time the members exchanged gifts. Many hAmitiful and useful articles were sYchnnrod. Celeste Godwin was prize winner in an amusing contest. The hostess served delicious re freshments to the following guests: Mrs. b. L. Barber. Mrs. Walter UmDhlett. Mrs. C. D. White, Mrs George Roach, Mrs. E. N. Miller, Mrs. Effie Miller, Mrs. Joel Hollo- well, Mrs. David Trueblood, Mrs Audrey Roach, Mrs. H. C. Proctor, Mrs. William Baeley, Mrs. Jim Lowe, Miss Gladys Hamrick, Miss Addie White, Miss Celeste Godwin, and Miss Mary Elizabeth White. SNOW HILL NEWS Ralph Harrell, Odell Cartwright, Elmer Wood, Jesse Harrell, Shelton Harrell and William Whedbee were in Hertford on business Saturday. Rufus and Louis Harrell, of Nor folk, Va visited their brother, Shelton Harrell, Sunday. Mrs. W. M. Matthews motored to Elizabeth City Friday on business. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Wood, ilrs. Edward Benton, Mrs. Ralph Harrell, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Cartwright motored to Elizabeth City Thurs day. Mr. and Mrs. Shelton Harrell motored to Norfolk, Va., Friday. Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Elliott, of Chapanoke, attended the play at Snow Hill Friday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Pike, P. G., Jane and Miss Bertha Chappell, of Hertford, attended the play Friday night.
