These tew hot nights we have had recently have evidently shown the Perquimans public where they can find a cool and comfortable spot and at the same time be pleasantly enter tained. The mammoth cooling sy stem in the theatre makes the place more than ever attractive. "Man of the People," a story about a lawyer who was forced to double cross the public but who turns the tables and exposes the big shot crooks, is the feature for today at the State. Joseph Calleia and Flo rence Rice take the lead in this true-in-life picture. On Saturday Charles Starett, the handsome gun-toting cowboy, wilt appear again, this time in the picture "Dodge City Trail", a real western thriller that is full of comedy, music and action. Don't forget that ex. 8 p. m. two five-dollar bills will be given. The names of at least . a doaen Hertford persons were called, in ad dition to a number from out of town, before the two bills were given away. Among those whose names were called were Miss Sarah Ward, Mrs. L A. Ward, Mrs. T. R. Winslow, Joe Hill and Mrs. Kenneth . Miller, the latter two receiving the money. James Cagney, who take the title role in "Great Guy", will appear at the State on Monday and Tuesday. Greater than ever, is the dictum of those who have seen the dynamic, red-head Cagney in his latest picture with Mae Clark once again his lead ing lady, in a drama that exposes a Do you look Your Hair Telia , If you've lost Ae spirit of yovds yon can find b again quickly and SMUnxanywfahCUraLIfyoarbait UdtAandnnlnisretrtng of itreakii r ' ed wUh gray, CUrol wiO impart 'ttatotat celoff oc fffssf gg fbeife ' 1 gradually seawdv . .quickly.
