Campbell has returned from Troy, where she has been stay ing for some time while her husband conducted a newspaper subscription campaign. Miss Chalk Returns Miss Louise Chalk has returned from E. C. T. C, Greenville, where she attended summer school. Mrs. Elliott Returns Mrs. R. D. Elliott returned Sunday from Bell Arthur, where she spent the previous week visiting her daugh ter, Mrs. S. F. Pollard. Visited Parents Mrs. Pearl Hanbury and baby, of Norfolk, were recent guests of Mr, and Mrs. V. L. Proctor. to Woodland, where she will live with her daughter, Mrs. Outland. Una, where he attended summer school. Returning From Nags Head Mrs. C. W. Morgan, Mrs. G. E, Newby, Mrs. W. H. Pitt and Howard Pitt, Jr., have returned from Nags Head, where they have spent the .summer. To Teach at Williamston miss uorcas Knowles, who was graduated from Greensboro College in June, has accepted a position to teach at Williamston this year. Visited at Manteo Mrs. J. E. Attending Conference Perquimans County will be repre sented by , three persons at the AH Friends World Conference which is being held this week at Swarthmore and Haverford Colleges, in Pennsyl vania. Mrs. L. J. Winslow and Mr. and Mrs. F. C. White, all of Belvi dere, left Monday to attend the conference. Visited Mrs. White Mrs. R. A. Pritchard, attended the Link Pritchard wedding which took place Tuesday morning in the Blackwell Memorial Baptist Church in Eliza beth City. G. Roberson. Miss Joyce Stokes was the winner of the prize for top score and the honoree was presented with a guest prize. Those present, in addition to Miss Britt, were Joyce Stokes, Joyce Har rell, Mattie Bert Relfe, Carolyn Rid dick, Bernice White, Louise Payne, Patricia Stephens, Katherine Step hens and Ona Mary Stephens. In Florida Mr. and Mrs. J. E. White and their daughter, Ellie Mae, Miss Mary Thad Chappell and Miss Mary Morris left Sunday morning for a motor trip to various points in Florida. Visiting in Raleigh and Durham J. C. Blanchard and his son, Billy, are spending a few days in Raleigh and Durham. Visiting at Creswell Mrs. C. W. Skinner, at "Cove Grove." 4 ; Winslow Boys Return Home Leigh and Jack Winslow have re turned from Camp Powhatan, in Vir ginia. Leigh was so unfortunate as to break his left arm . while at the camp, but his condition is improving. At Country Home Dr. J. J. Skinner and Mrs. Skinner, of Washington, D. C, accompanied by their son and daughter-in-law, Mr, and Mrs. Frank Skinner, of States ville, are spending some time at their country home, "Cove Grove , in Old Neck. Visited Sister Here Mrs. T. G.
