Winslow and family. BETHEL CLUB MEETS The Bethel home demonstration club met Friday afternoon at the school house with Mrs. E. J. Proctor and Mrs. L. A. Proctor as hostesses. Mrs. J. M. Fleetwood, president, pre sided The collect was repeated and a business session was held. Mrs. Thomas Nixon of Hertford gave a short talk and Mrs. M. T. Griffin, who attended the convention held in Raleigh in August, gave the club a very interesting talk of her trip. Miss Gladys Hamrick gave out very helpful booklets. Two contests were enjoyed with Mrs. J. B. Bas night and Mrs. Thomas Nixon winn ing prizes. The hostesses served dainty refreshments. Those present were Mesdames J. M. Fleetwood, Mary Hayman, R. S.
