They came from as far away as
Brooklyn, N. Y., making a special
trip to see the picture.
Don Francis, of Brooklyn, N. Y., a
brother of Mrs. Julian Ward, of
Edenton, saw the advertisement in
The Perquimans Weekly and made a
special trip down to see the show at
the State, spending the week in
Edenton with his mother, Mrs. B. F.
Francis.
Grown-ups and children alike were
charmed with the show and there
were crowds at most of the eleven
showings of the lovely fairy story.
As the picture had not been shown
in any of the near-by towns, many
came from Edenton, Windsor, Wil
liamston, Ahoskie and other points.
In the northern hemisphere a
storm always spins in a rotary coun
ter clockwise motion.
