Miss Marian Raper, of Hertford, and Miss Ethelyn Everett, of Eden ton, lighted the candles. Miss Raper wore a dress of rose silk crepe, with brown accessories. Her flowers were Talisman roses, worn as a shoulder corsage. Miss Everett wore a dress of teal blue crepe, with black acces sories. Her flowers were a duplicate of Miss Raper's bouquet. Miss Blanche Everett, only sister of the bride, was maid of honor and the bride's only attendant. Miss College, after spending the week-end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Payne. Return to Elon College Misses Lila Budd and Ona Mary Stephens, students at Elon College, spent the week-end with their par ents, Capt.. and Mrs. C. G. Stephens. Monday in Edenton Mrs. John Broughton, Sr., Mrs. John Broughton, Jr., and Mrs. F. R. Evans were in Edenton Monday morn ing. Week-end Here Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Byrd, of New Bern, spent the week-end as guests of Mrs. Byrd's parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Knowles. Return from Greensboro Mr. and Mrs. B. C. Berry and son, Carroll, and Miss Helen Morgan havu returned from Greensboro, where they spent a few days with Miss Blanche Moore Berry, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Berry. Motor to Norfolk Sunday Misses Bernice White and Evelyn Riddick and Henry Clay Sullivan, and Edward Weeks, of Elizabeth City, were in Norfolk, Va., Sunday. Week-end Here William Hardcastle, a student at State College, Raleigh, spent week-end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Hardcastle. Beverly Blanchard, of Elizabeth City, was the guest of his mother, Mrs. Lucius Blanchard, Tuesday. carried an arm bouquet of bronze chrysanthemums. The bride entered the church on the arm of her father, by whom she was given in marriage. She was lovely in a three-piece costume of Boy Blue woolen material, with hat, gloves and shoes of grey. She also wore a gold locket, a gift of the bridegroom. Her flowers were an arm bouquet of Easter lilies. Immediately after the ceremony, which was attended by a large gath ering of friends of the young couple, Mr. and Mrs. Wright left for a motor trip to Florida. Upon? their return they will live in Elizabeta jCity. The bride is the attractive daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. SSverett, of Hertford, and is very popular with a wide circle of friends. The bride groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Willjs S. Wright, of Elizabeth City, and is a prominent young business man of that place.
