The meet ing was opened by singing, "Ameri ca,, the Beautiful," after which the Collect was repeated. The roll was called and the minutes of the pre vious meeting were read and ap proved. The following, new leaders were appointed: Health, Mrs. M. D. Lane: education. Mrs. L. J. Wins- low; recreation, Mrs. C. T. Rogerson, Jr.; loan fund, Mrs. F. C. White; markets, Mrs. W. T. Smith; citizen ship. Mrs. S. M. Winslow: 4-H ciun work, Mrs. R. R. White. . An inteieatinir moo-ram was ar ranged by Miss Margaret B. White and Mrs. L. L. Winslow on "Flowers in General." A poem, "A Garden," was given by Mrs. W. Li White, i A most helpful talk on Flower Ar rangement, with displays of flowers arranged in different ways for all occasions, by Mrs. T. C. Perry. A display of vases and containers was also on exhibit. Mrs. L. J. Winslow tallked on the Flower Festival. The program closed with a Flower prayer. Miss Maness gave a demonstration on Business Unit in the Home, show ing a desk which could be made at home at very little cost. She also gave some hints on Spring Styles., Mrs. R. R. White, 4-H' Club leader, was appointed to prepare the pro gram for April, and Mrs. M. D. Lane, health leader, was asked toj prepare a report.
