Map Tracings Ready Epr Distribution To Perquimans Farmers Map-tracings for convenience .. in planning the crops,, have been re ceived in the office of L. W. Ander son, county agent, for Bethel, Belvi dere, Hertford and New Hope. Trac ings of farms in Parkville will be ready in a few days. Several hundreds of the tracings, made of individual farms from aerial maps, have already been distributed, but many more are still on hand. County farmers are urged to get their maps before they plant. They show individual plots and cuts on all individual farms, and, should be of great help in planning the crops for the different cuts, April Snow And Sleet Hit Crops In County Temperatures high in the seven ties following hard on the heels of snow and sleet last Friday night re veal that some crop damage was suf fered from the storm in Belvidere and other townships. Corn and snap beans were rather hard hit in some sections of the county where snow did not melt from roof tops until Saturday morning. Easter, most county residents thought, had marked the end of wintry blasts; snow, as late as April 12th, is almost unheard of in this section. The storm Friday night brought an amount of discomfort to those who had believed that Spring was here, and had adjusted them selves accordingly. Boxing Matches To Be Staged At High School Friday Night v M The Perquimans , County 'High School boxing team will stage a re turn engagement with boxers from Manteo here at the local high school auditorium Friday night at 8 o'clock. The local boxers were defeated by Manteo last week by the score of 2 to 3 and, from all indications the bouts to be staged here ' this week will furnish plenty of entertain-' ment.to, local fight fans who attend the bouts.
