Returns From Hospital Little Miss Katherine Alice Nixon has returned from General Hospital, Norfolk, Va., where she was quite ill. She is now, however, getting along nicely. Reed was jn charge of the devotional. There were' readings by Mrs. Norma Trueblood and Mrs. Brinn. About ten members were present. ENTERTAINS BRIDGE CLUB Miss Mary Sumner was hostess to her bridge club last Thursday even ing. Those playing were Mesdames Corbin Dozier, Tommy Jessup, Geo. W. Barbee, Henry Clay Stokes, Joe Towe, Charles WiMif ord, Silas Whed bee, Sidney Elliott and A. H. Ed wards, Miss Elizabeth Knowles and Miss Helen Morgan. Miss Operzine Cooke called the roll and read the minutes of the last meeting. Miss Katherine Godfrey took the col lection, receiving 40 cents. Bray, leader, toid about the Heck Memorial program which will be held In June. "0 Zion Haste" was sung, and an Interesting program was presented.
