Cotton Improvement Groups Take Notice; Information From CCC According to the Commodity Cre dit Corporation, the Form 1 Cotton Classification Memorandum will be accepted as evidence of the class of cotton for the 1940 loan (th&Form 1 memorandum is the green card re ceived by growers showing the classi fication of their individual bales). In order to identify the bales, the gin or warehouse bale number must be entered on Form 1 card in the proper place before the sample is submitted for classification. In accordance with the Commodity Credit Corporation's instructions to warehousemen, if members of groups have Form 1 classification' memoran da, it will not be necessary to have the approved warehouseman resam ple their cotton or to pay .the charge of 15 cents per bale for classifica tion. The demonstration on "Furnishing a Home" was given by Miss Frances Mahess. Mrs. John Symons led an entertaining contest with Miss Maness winning the prize. The hostess served dainty refresh ments.
