tors were present. Mrs. E. W.
Mayes, chairman, took charge of the
program, the topic being "An Ur
gent Gospel to Direct Youth." Mrs.
C. E. Hobgood read, the Scripture
lesson. Taking part on the program
were Mrs. L. B. Sitterson, Mrs. Tom
Perry, Mrs. Matt Matthews and Mrs.
J. E. Everett.
During the social hour the hostess
served a sweet course.
W. M. S. TO MEET MONDAY
The Woman's Missionary Society
of Hertford Baptist Church will meet
Monday evening at 8 o'clock at the
church. This meeting is being held
a week early so as not to conflict
with revival services the following
week. Mrs. I. A. Ward, president of
the Society, urges all members to
attend this meeting.

prize was awarded Mrs. Felton and
Mrs. Sumner received low.

evening at dinner at Hotel Hertford.
After dinner those enjoying bridge

ner. Mrs. Johnson was awarded high
score prize, low went to Mrs. Camp
