D. Cranford officiating. Mrs. Baker is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Mathews, of Hert ford, Route Three. Mr. Baker is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Baker. The couple was attended by Miss Ida Perry Mathews, sister of the bride, and Laurence Towe. The bride wore a costume of beige with blue accessories and her flowers were a corsage of white bridal roses. After a motor trip through West ern North Carolina, the young couple will make their home in Hertford.
