REPRESENT HERTFORD AT DISTRICT CLUB MEETING At the district meeting of the Northeastern District of the North Carolina Federation of Music Clubs held at Manteo recently, the follow ing girls represented the Hertford Music Club: Dorothy Oakey, Molly Oakey, Delia Evans, Doris Byrum, Jayne Griffin, Cassie Winslow, Bar bara Gault, and Ida Lee White. They were accompanied by Mrs. W. H. Oakey, Miss Mary Jane Spruill and Mrs. R. M. Riddick. Dorothy Oakey gave the response to the address of welcome; Barbara Gault gave the year's report; Cassie Winslow received the attendance prize for the club; Doris Byrum play Cross has aided humanity during the Club sang "The Green Cathedral."
