T. Brinn, at an informal tea given in honor of Miss Joyce Stokes, whose marriage will take place on January 13 to First Sergeant Rufus M Rid dick, now of Greenville, S. C. The lower floor of the home was artistically decorated with holiday evergreens and tall red candles car rying out the New Year motif. At the door Mrs. R. T. Brinn wel comed the guests, who were greeted 1 in the living room by Miss Stokes, I Miss Sarah Brinn, Mrs. H. C. Stokes 1 and Mrs. R. M. Riddick. ( The Bride's Book, in which more than seventy-five names were in scribed, was presided over by Miss Nancy harden. In the living room, where many red candles added festive cheer, Mrs. T. P. Brinn was assisted in pouring tea by Mrs. M. G. Brown, of Edenton, and the Misses Dorcas and Grace Knowles. MISS STOKES HONOREE AT BRIDGE PARTY Mrs. Henry Clay Sullivan charm ingly entertained at a bridge party on Monday evening complimenting Miss Joyce 'Stokes, whose marriage to M. Serg. Marion Riddick will take place next week. Those playing, in addition to Miss Stokes, honoree, in cluded Misses Jocelyn Whedbee, Helene Nixon, Marian Morrow, Fran ces Maness, Grace Knowles, Esther Evans, and Mesdames H. E.
