The Woman's Missionary Society of
the Baptist Church met at the church
Monday afternoon. The meeting was
opened with the Watchword of the
year, followed by the hymn, "All
Hail the Power of Jesus' Name."
Mrs. L. W. Norman led the prayer,
after which the roll was called and
the minutes of the previous meeting
were read and approved. Various re
ports were given. Mrs. Mark Gre
gory gave the devotional. After a
solo by Mrs. G. R. Tucker, Mrs. J. P.
Perry offered prayer. Mrs. J. W.
Ward talked on "Racial Problems."
Mrs. H. G. Dawkins dismissed the
meeting by prayer.
