Nixon announce the marriage of their daughter, Min nie Louise, to William Draper Stan ford on Saturday evening, March l.'i, at 7 o'clock. The ceremony was per formed by Chaplain Mattingly, Cap tain, U. S. Army, at Paris, Texas. Mrs. Stanford is a graduate of Perquimans High School and attend ed Louisburg College and Norfolk Business College. She is now em ployed at the Naval Air Station in Norfolk. BELVIDERE CLUB MEETS The Belvidere Home Demonstra. tion Club met Wednesday at the Com munity House with the president, Mrs. B. W. Copeland, presiding. The meeting was called to order by sing ing "Columbia, the Gem of the Ocean," after which the Collect was repeated. The demonstration "Quick and Sure Methods of Making a Dress" was given by Miss Frances Maness. The members were asked to make a dress and to wear it at the next meeting. CLASS MEETS The Young Women's and Young Men's Class of the Woodville Baptist Sunday School held its regular meet ing on Tuesday evening at the home of Miss Mildred Rogue. The presi dent, Johnnie Bray, called the meet ing to order and "Have Thine Own Way, Lord," was used as the open ing hymn. Mrs. Frank Bray read the Scripture and Raloh I .avden led in prayer. The collection was taken and a business session followed. "Sweet Hour of Prayer" was sung and the program was taken over by Mrs. frank Bray, who gave a very in spiring talk on "The Upbuilding of Our Sunday School." "What A Friend" was sung and Walton Wood dismissed the meeting with prayer. During the social hour games were enjoyed and delicious refreshments were served to the following: Mrs. Frank Bray, Johnnie Bray, Walton Wood, Frank Bray, Ralph Lavden, Mrs. C. A.
