CIRCLE MEETING The Rosa Powell Circle of the Hert ford Baptist Church met Tuesday night, June 7th at the home of Mra Charles Henc. A lovely buffet supper was served by the hostess preceding the meeting. .:'v; & : .,:,- ; 77 ;. Ten members were present - The meeting was opened by sing ing Bringing In the Sheaves. Mrs. Dawson led in prayer. After the bus iness was conducted a very interesting program on missionaries in Mexico was given by Miss Charlotte Duling, Mrs. Milton Dad Jr., and Miss Mary Frances Dail. The meeting was adjourned with a prayer by Miss Eva Harris. - HONORED AT PARTY Miss Moliie Lee Yeates was enter tained Friday night at a Burpnse birthday party - at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. D. xeates, in honor of her 14th birthday. Games and music comprised the entertain ment Many gifts were received by the honoree. D. Yeates. Ice cream, cake and candy were served. STUDY CLASS AT WOODLAND The Woman's Society of Christian Service of Woodland Church held a Bible Study Class at the church on Wednesday. The topic was "Newness of Life." The entire book was given with Res. and Mrs. E. B. Edwards, Mrs. D. M. Cartwright and Mrs. Eddie Harrell conducting the discussion. Each one carried a basket lunch and everyone present enjoyed both the study and the felowship together. There were 18 members and 12 visi tors present.
