Shepard, son of Mrs. Nellie Shepard, of Al berta, Va., to Miss Kathleen Sawyer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Sawyer, of London, on August 2, in England, where he is serving with the Eighth Air Force. Sergeant Shepard is a ground crew chief, responsible for the servicing, maintenance and repair of a Flying Fortress.
