T. A. STUDY GROUP. MEETS The Parent-Teacher Association Study Group of the Perquimans Cen tral Grammar School met in Decem ber in the auditorium of the school building. The Winfall- Cumberland communities conducted the meeting and the program was in charge of Mrs. J. Van Roach, of Winfall. The meeting opened by singing "Silent Night,' and the devotional was given by Mrs. Raymond Stanton. The sub ject for discussion was "Home School Teamwork for Democracy." A talk along these lines was given by Mrs. Junior Miller. Mrs. A. R. Winslow sang "White Christmas." Mrs. H. R. Winslow. in the absence of Mrs. Johnnie Lane, gave a reading on "Education in a Post-War World." Fifteen people were present at the meeting. c PREACHING AT WOODLAND The Rev. J. D. Cranford will preach at Woodland Methodist Church Sunday morning at 11 o'clock. Sun day School will begin promptly at 10:30 o'clock. A special effort is being made to raise the Orphanage Assignment and all offerings taken Sunday will go to the Orphanage at Raleigh. Everyone is extended a very cor dial invitation to attend, this and all other services of the church by the church school officers. Come and bring your friends end neighbors.
