The Woman's Society of Christian
Service of the Woodland Methodist
Church met on February 16 at the
home of Mrs. J. W. Overton.
The president, Mrs. Earl Hollowell,
called the meeting to order and Mrs.
Uverton had charge of a very inter
esting program, after which the roll
was called and the minutes of the
previous meeting were read and ap
proved. After a short business ses
sion, Mrs. Ernest Cartwright had
charge of a Spiritual Life prom-am
Mrs. Hollowell dismissed the' meeting
wun a prayer.
The hostess served a sweet course

ing School, have been awarded the
war stamps offered by the War
Finance Committee for hisrhest sales
made during the Fourth War Loan
It was at first announced that King
Williams and R. L. Kingsbury won
the stamps, but these two teachers
acted as agents for the girls winning
the prizes, and sales credited to
them should have been listed for
the two students.
