IN MEMORIAM
In memory of our loving daughter.
LeBsie Vivian Davie, who didd one
year ago, April 18, 1943:
God has called our little darling
home to rest.
No one knows how much we loved
her.
But God loved her best.
Although we do not know how much
she suffered,
That no tongue can ever tell,
But we find so much comfort to know
That Jesus doeth all things welL
She was so kind and loving.
And always had a smile.
We do not know how soon we will
meet her,
It might be just a little while.
Sometimes we sit and wonder '
Why God called you so soon.
He knew that you were ' ready,
Lessie darling,
That's why He called you home.
Your loved ones here are sad and
lonely,
And everything is still.
We could hardly give yon up,
But we knew it was God's will.
Her place at home is vacant, e
And wo miss her , sweet and smiling
face,
For we know there is no other,
Who can . ever take her place. V
- "
Oh, how we loved you, dearest
Lessie,
But Jesus loved you best
He sweetly called you,
And took you home to rest
We pray some day we will meet yon
In that beautiful city in that land
Where we wilt never grow old.
