carry on a business in the Town of
Hertford for which there is required

the license tax and obtained the li
cense. For the purpose of this sec
tion the opening of a place of busi
ness, or offering to sell, followed by
a single sale or the doing of any act
or thing in furtherance of the busi
ness shall be construed to be engag
ing in or carrying on sueh business;
'and each day that such person, firm
or corporation shall engage in or
carry on such business as aforesaid
shall be construed to be a separate
offense.

Due to a change in ownership of the building
in which I operated my store in Hertford,
and from which I had to vacate, 1 have
closed oyt my business as of this week.
