The Roman's Missionary Society
of the Hertford Baptist Church met
Monday evening at the church with
Mrs. I. A. Ward presiding. The
meeting opened with the hymn "Take
the Name of Jesus With You." Mrs.
Ward gave the devotional. Minutes
of the last meeting were read and
each member was asked to bring
some article for a kitchen shower
next month.
Mrs. Milton Dail was elected com
munity mission chairman for the re
mainder of the year. The society
voted to send a representative to the
G. A. house party. The topic of the
program was "Centennial Crusade
for Christ." Those taking part were
Mrs. M. J. Gregory, Mrs. V. N. Dar
den, Mrs. R. E. Vickers and Mrs.
Norman Elliott.

The Delia Shamburger Missionary
Society of the Methodist Church met
Monday evening- with Mrs. W. H.
