Visiting Cousin Miss Mary Annette Cannon is vis iting her cousin, Miss Juanita Har rell, at Great Bridge, Va. Visiting Here Mr. and Mrs. Tim Gregory and son of Norfolk are the guests of Mrs. Noah Gregory at her home on Dobb street. Returned Home Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Reed and son Corp, have returned to their home in Greenville, S. C, after spending last week as the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Corp Reed at their home near Hertford. Returned From Hospital Mrs. Fred Winslow has returned home from Norfolk General Hospital after being a patient there for sev eral weeks. Mrs. Winslow is much improved. Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Peele in Norfolk. Returned Home Corbin Dozier, Jr., has returned home after spending a month at Camp Leach. On Leave Bill Elliott, USNR, Bainbridge, Md., is spending his leave with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Elliott. At Nags Head Mr. and Mrs. H. C. From Plymouth Misses Lorenia Snell and Sarah Jackson of Plymouth spent several days last week as the guests of Mrs. Addie Jones. MEETS , The Woman's Missionary Society of j the Hertford Baptist Church met Monday night in room No. 1 at the j church with Mrs. I. A. Ward presid- j ing. Ihe hymn Keady was sung, followed by the Lord's Prayer. The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved, roll called with Circle No. 1 having the largest number of members present. A hymn "Have Thine Own Way, Lord," was sung. Mrs. Hudson But ler gave the Scripture lesson and a splendid talk on Community Mis sions. Mrs. L. W. Norman orTered prayer and the hymn, "Make Me a Channel of Blessing" was sung. The meeting was closed with a prayer by Mrs. C. R. Holmes.
