S. Coltrane, Assistant Com missioner of Agriculture, reports in announcing that total sales of ferti lizer from July 1, 1945 to May 1, 1946, were 1,464,963 tons, as compar ed with 1,360,799 tons for the same period last year. With regard to feed, Coltrane poin ted out that despite the apparent scar city, the largest quantities of fd the record set in 1943 are being sold.
