There were 12 members and one visitor present. After the meeting the hostess served refreshments. CENTRAL PTA MEETS The Parent-Teachers Association of the Perquimans Central Grammar School will meet on Monday .night, May 20 at 8 o'clock. Mrs. R. R. White is in charge of the program and will present her pi ano students, in a musical playlet en titled "The Comical County Cousins." After the program there will be installation of officers for next year. The public is invited to attend. LOCAL GIRL WINS HONORS For the past two semesters Joann Winslow, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. E. Winslow of Belvidere, has been an honor student at East Carolina Teachers College. She has also been outstanding in class activities and had a prominent part in the May Day festival. .
