CIRCLE NO. 4 MET Circle No. 4 of the Hertford Bap tist Church met Monday night with Mrs. J, E. Everett. Mrs. T, E. Madre presided. The meeting opened with a hymn followed by the Lord's Prayer; said in unison. Minutes of the last meeting were read. Rll was called with 12 members present. Mrs. Lena Gregory gave the devotional and a prayer. A hymn, "Jesus Shall Reign" was then sung, followed by a prayer by Mrs. G. C. Buck. Mrs. Mark Gregory and Mrs. W. F. Edwards gave a very interesting pro gram on Russia. Prayer by Mrs. Ev erett. The meeting was closed with the theme song, "Evening Prayer." The hostess served refreshments. In Greensboro Mrs. J. 0. Felton left Friday for Greensboro, where she will visit her daughter. Miss Peggy Felton. Sunday At Rocky Mount Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Pitt spent Sunday as guests of Mr. and TMrs. G. E. Newby at Rocky Mount. HELEN GAITHER CLUB MEETS Members of the Helen Gaither Home Demonstration Cluib met at the Agriculture Building for their Feb ruary meeting and entertained their husbands at a two-course supper. Af ter the supper, a number of songs and music was rendered. Miss Frances Maness then gave an interesting talk on bathroom plans for the home. I. C. Yagel then dis cussed running water, plumbing and hot water system for the home. Mr. Yagel and Miss Maness had charge of the recreation, which was enjoyed by all. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. T. E. Madre, Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Madre, Mr. and Mrs. E. Y. Berry and sons, Edgar Young and Dan, Mr. and Mrs. Hopkins, Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Lane, Mr. and Mrs. W. 0. Hunter, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Dail, Mr. and Mrs. Jake Ches son, Jesse Chesson, Mrs. Addie Jones and sons, Doward and Tommie Jones, Mrs. Colon Jackson, I. C.
