Morgan. - HONORED AT DINNER PARTY Miss Anne Tucker, bride-elect, was honored at a dinner party given by her sister and brother, Miss Ruth Tucker and Paul Tucker, at the Hotel Hertford last Friday evening. In ad dition to the honored guest and the bridal party, those attending includ ed the out-of-town guests here for the wedding. Following the dinner the rehearsal took place at the church, after which the guests attended a dance at the VFW Club. MISSIONARY SOCIETY MEETS The Young People's Missionary Society of Up River Friends Church held its regular meeting with Els berry Lane Friday evening, October 18. The meeting opened with the singing of "Bringing In the Sheaves." Elsberry conducted the devotion. The lesson, "World Evangelism,? was given by Faye 'Winslow and Thelma White read a story, "The School In the Hollow." The meeting closed with everybody singing "The Lignt ot tne woria is Jesus ana re peating the ljenedictiqiki A delightful Jwcial hour followed with everyone enjoying games.
