MEETS The Methodist Youth Fellowship of the New Hope Church held its monthly meeting at the Community House Monday night. The meeting was pre sided over by Dickie Baker, president. uevotion was given oy Anne siamngs, followed by a reading by Audrey Stal lings. Carolyn Dail gave a poem. , ' The meeting closed with a recrea ' tional program with all members par ticipating. 'i "i CLUB MEETS "The Whiteston Home Demonstra - tion Club met Tuesday night, Novem ber 28 at the home of Mrs. Johnnie Stallings. C MEETS ; The Burgess Home Demonstration Club met Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock with Mrs. Josiah Proctor. I The meeting was opened by a de votional taken from the 6th Chapter of Luke, 41-49 verses and prayer giv en by Mrs. Tommie Matthews. T The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. The hostess served candy, fruit cake and hot coffee. - n ' JUNIOR MUSIC CLUB MEETS j Margaret Williams, Billy Cherry, Nancy and Anne Lane were host Fri day evening to, the Hertford Junior Music Club ,at the "home of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Williams. ' iPatricia Biggers presided over the business session, at which reports were given by various committees. Jean Madre, delegate, gave a report of the Manteo District meeting. Gifts for under-privileged children were brought by the club members, to be sent to the Save-the-ChiWren Fed eration.'' A program was planned for the De cember meeting, to which parents are invited. Contributions were made to Federation-sponsored causes. A musical program, under the direc tion of Jean Long, followed, in which the following members took part: Becky White, Nancy and Anne Lane, Bay Winslow", Betty Brown, Barbara Lee Sawyer, -iSondra Hutchinson, Charley Johnson, Jean Stallings, Jean Long, Mrs. Biddick, counselor. At the close of the musical program games were played and refreshments served by the hosts.
