They were welcomed by Philip Phil lips of Bethel After a short business session, presided over by Patricia Big gers, during which a rating of 350 points was claimed for the club by Sandra Hutchinson. Jean Long pre- sented a. program divided into three , parts: The Life and Compositions of Edward MacDowell, Santa Claus and the festivities of the Christmas season, and The First Christmas, by Ada Richter, read hy Charley Johnson, and the Christmas carols played and sung by the children and their guests. Riddick, Counselor. of T0 HOME DEMONSTRATION CLUB HOLDS MEETING The Home Demonstration Club of Snow Hill - Vhite Hat had its Christmas party at die' Hacienda on Monday night with Mrs. Wally Knight as hostess. All the members and their families enjoyed a turkey, sup per with all , the " trimmings, after which , gifts were exchanged and Christmas carols , were sung, Many games were enjoyed with several win ning prizes. Mrs. Freeman Umphlett was awarded the door irize. ROOK PARTY Mrs. Harry Hollowell was a delight ful hostess at a rook party Tuesday evening.
