Observing their third ' anniversary,
the Lioness , Club of Hertford enter
tained their husbands at a dinner
meeting held at the Hotel Hertford
Friday night, with Mrs. F. A. Mc-
Gnogan, president, presiding.
I There was a hundred per cent at
tendance, 18 members with a like
number of Lions present.
Mrs. McGoogan welcomed the
guests, the response being made by
Clinton Eley, -president of the Lions
Club.
A new member, Mrs. Richard David,
was welcomed into the club.
An interesting history of the accom
nligl'ments of the Lionesses;-was read
by Mrs. Elton Hurdle, who recognized
Mrs. James Bass, who has attended
85 of the 86 meetings held during
three yearsf and Mrs. T. P. Brinn, and
Mrs. Charles Ward, who have each
attended 34. '
