' The double rinjr ceremony was per formed by the Rer.'Carl Yow, assist ed by the Rev. C. F. Chaffin a the presence of friends and relatives. The 'xhurch was decorated with palms, ferns, baskets of white flowers 'and lighted tapers. Mrs, R. R. White ren dered a program of nuptial music and Mrs. Doris Lee White sang, "I Love Thee," "Because," and. 'The Lord's Prayer." ' , The bride, who was given iin marri age by her father; wore a candlelight i length gown of Bridal white Chan tilly lace" over satin, fashioned with a sheer yoke, outlined with bertha. Long lace sleeves ended ' in wedding peaks over the hands. The petal bo dice, buttoned down back with self covered buttons, was accented by the full gathered skirt. Her elbow length veil of imported illusion was arranged from a satin capulet- For her bouquet, the bride carried a crescent of white orchids showered with stephanotis. Mrs. Hilton White was her sister's Matron of Honor. She wore a venue geranium gown of nylon net and lace over taffeta, fashioned with a fitted bodice and full gathered tekirt She carried a nosegay of mixed autumn flowers, and wore a halo of matching flowers in her hair. , Little , Miss 'Jacqueline Symons, neice. of the bridegroom, was flower girl: ,She wore a dress of, white silk made with a 'fitted bodice and bouf fant skirt ' She -carried a basket of rose petals tied with, matching rib bon. - " . ;' vs Walter- Symons was his brother's best man. I Groomsmen ' were Dan Berry and J oe Kowell. -V - 'The Mistress of Ceremonies ' was Mrs. C. E. Cannon.. She was attired i in a black dress with black acces sories. Her corsage was pink roses. The bride's mother wofe a dress of black crepe with black accessories and a white orchid corsage. The mother bf the ' bridegroom - wore 1 a purpose crepe dress with black accessories and a white orchid corsage. . 1 : v Immediately' following the wedding, Mr. and Mrs. Symons left for a wed ding" trip. For traveling the bride chose a grey suit with matching ac cessories. She wore a corsage of or chids luted from her bridal bouquet Mrs. Symons is a graduate of Per quimans County High School and has been employed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Washington, D.
