v Plans for the Halloween party, to be
staged by the Central Grammar School
, PTA on Friday night, October 26, at
the school in Winfall, were announced
today by Mrs. B. F. Bray, chairman
of the Ways and Means Committee.
; ' Tha party, will start at 7:30 P. M,
with a small admission fee for adults.
Children will be admitted free. At
tractions for the event will be a
. short Halloween skit and a play pre
sented by Mrs. Lamb's room. Then,
there will be fortune telling, a fish
ing pond, spook Toom, and other at-
. tractions for entertainment- The
highlight of the evening will be the
grammar grades and the prince and
princess of the primary classes, The
public is . invited to attend.

entered in a State-wide 4-H contest,
it was announced today by Bobby
Smith, chairman of the county con

: Miss Perry will compete with 17
ether girls in the state contest, and
will take part in a district meet to
be held atWilliamston on October 24.
She is a junior at Perquimans High
School, and the daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Tom Perry. " .
