V PROCEEDINGS OF COMMISSIONERS ; February 4, 1952. At a regular meeting of the Board of County Commissioners of Perquim ans County, held at the Court House on the first Monday, the 4th day of February, 1952, present and .presid ing, A. T. Lane, chairman, with Com missioners R. S. Chappell, E. B. Hol lowell, William C. Chappell and E. A. Turner. Absent, none. ,On motion, the Commissioners ap proved a petition requesting that the State Highway and Public Works Commission take over and maintain that certain road set out in petition, , beginning in the village of New Hope on .the Hertford-New' Hope road and running near the New Hope 'church yard to the home of Mrs. John Fos-' ter. (See E. A. Turner, Commission er, Durants Neck, N. C, for further information. Upon motion duly passed upon an unfavorable report having been made by the driveway committee as to' cre ating drive-way on east side of the Agriculture Building.
