R. Bush, 82, former resident of Perquimans, according to a Washing ton, D. C. newspaper, article. , Mrs.' Bush, who is a sister of J. T. White of Hertford, has 40 years 'of volunteer work with the Red Cross chapter, and while she has kept no rec ords, her Mends have, and since 1945 Mrs. Bush is credited with finishing 10,000 garments. Most of these were hospital garments, which the -Red Cross makes for the Washington hos pitals. ,-... Despite household duties, raising a family and illness, the article con tinued, Mrs. Bush, has maintained a steady production for the Red Cross unit and has been an inspiration to her associates.
