PAGE FIVE State's Roads Draw National Attention The largest periodical of the Ameri can Automobile Association, "Motor News" of Detroit, praised North Car olina's road-building record in the lead editorial of its March issue and sug- wag entertained Thursday evening at the home of Mrl and 'Mrs. Tom Cox by Misses Becky Cox,v tRstsy Elliott, Maude Lee Corprew and IDehorah Nix on. The home "was beautifully dec orated with lovely spring flowers. The high score prize went to Mrs. Riddick and the floating prize was awarded Mrs. Hollowell. A sweet course was served. HYMN PROGRAM "'The'"' Hertford Junior Music Club program in Elizabeth City. Tt was announced that Letitia Mc Googan will play at the State Con. ventton of Music Clubs in Charlotte May H-2. :'".-,y.
