The Hertford Junior Music. ;-,2ub held its first meeting of the school year on Thursday evening at the; home of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Bass, with Linda Bass and Diane HoIloweU 'W hostesses, : Letitia McGoogan presided over the business session, which opened with the Club Hymn, Collect and Pledge,' followed by introduction of officers and chairmen by Mrs. R. M. Riddick, Counselor. Junior Magazines were distributed, and items which were to be especially considered were pointy ed out by Mrs. Riddick. .Plans for we. year were discussed, and the club ws enthusiastic about an international Costume Party to be held on the 3rd Friday night in October. v ; Anne Lane presented a musical pro gram, in f. which the following . club members took part: Pat Drake, Gail Johnson, Pat Tripp, Linda Bass, Irv ing Long, Jr., Vicki Johnson, Shirley Ann Tarkington, Betty Brown and Di- anne Hollowell. An ice cream course was served, br ine hostesses, assisted by Kachei Bass, after which an impromptu . musical program was put on which was much enjoyed. Betty Brown was awarded the Hani Position Prize.
