Barbecue Dinner Held Here Monday On Monday night May 10, Preston Nixon, Cliff Morgan, and Clarence Clarence Chappell, Sr., entertained ap proximately 50 people at a barbecue supper! at the Agricultural Building. These people included prospective buy ers, judging team members, exhibit ors, parents of judging team members and special guests. Among the guests were J. K. Butler, Jr. and Sam Bu chanan, Animal Husbandry Specialist from State College. . , . The Purebred Cattlemens Associa tion ol Perquimans County offered a trophy to the best steer from Perquim ans County in the Albemarle Pat Stock Show and Sale.- This was of fered by Commander Tim Brum, pres ident of the Purebred Cattlemens As sociation. ,:. Y will conduct a series of revival services at Up River Friends Church beginning May 19 and continuing through May 80, it was an nounced this week by the Rev. James Rahenkamp, pastor of the church.
